Radiator Surge Tanks

A surge tank absorbs volume changes in fluid systems caused by pressure surges or thermal expansion. In cooling systems, it provides a buffer space above the radiator core, preventing pump cavitation, reducing air pockets, and ensuring consistent coolant flow to the engine under varying load and temperature conditions.
